Al Noor have used traditional spices and herbs to produce an aromatic Bassar Curry Masala. This curry masala is widely used in Asian communities around the world. Especially Kashmiri and Pakistani people love this curry masala.
You can use this Bassar Curry Masala in the preperation of various curries. It is a complete mixture which only requires the addition of salt according to individual taste.
Cooking Suggestion (to serve 4 persons):
500g Meat
125g Butter/Oil
1 tbsp Salt
2 tbsp Al Noor Bassar Masala
3 medium sized chopped Onions
1. Boil meat with onions and salt, leave to simmer, with lid on for 25-30 minutes, depending on the meat used until it is tender.
2. Seperate the meat from the gravy and and fry the meat in the butter/oil. When you begin to fry the meat add to it Al Noor Bassar Masala and keep turning until the butter/oil seperates from the sauce.
3. Now add the gravy stock, boil and allow to simmer with lid on for a further 10-15 minutes.
Your authentic curry is now ready for serving with Naan, Chapati (roti) or rice.
Note: Cooking times for vegetables and chicken will be proportionally less.
Ingredients: Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, Mustard Oil, Fenugreek Leaves, Cumin Powder, Bayleaves, Mustard Seeds, Cardamom Powder, Cinnamon Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Cloves, Fenugreek Powder, Nutmeg Powder.
Should only be consumed after heating to at least 65°C or 150°F
