The Bolst family of Bangalore have been involved in the selection and preparation of Indian food ingredients since 1932. They have a well-deserved, international reputation for producing fine Curry Powders, Pastes, Pickles, Achars and Chutneys, with many of their products achieving cult status across the world.
Recipe Suggestion:
For Frying:
• Mix 500g fish fillets with 2 tbsp Fish curry Paste and salt to taste. Marinate for 15 minutes then shallow fry until cooked.
For Curry:
• Heat 2 tbsp oil in a shallow pan, add 2 tbsp Fish Curry Paste and 4 tbsp tomato puree and fry for 2 minutes.
• Add ½ tsp salt, 1 cup water, and bring to the boil. Add 500g fish fillets, cover and cook over a medium heat until done.
Serve hot with Indian Breads or Rice and Bolsts selection of Pickles, Achars or Chutneys.
