A gorgeous, easy to make burger, topped with arguably the best burger relish - Prices Spices Chillato Chutney...

Preparation Time:

15 mins

Cooking Time:

10 mins

Minced Beef (not lean) - 500g
 Egg Yolks - 2
 Garlic Powder - 1 tsp
 Oyster Sauce - 50 ml
White Bread - 5 slices blitzed to crumbs
 Black Pepper - to taste
 Salt - to taste
 Cheddar Cheese slices - 4
 Chillato Chutney - 4 tbsps
 Burger Buns - 4
 Beef Tomato Slices - 4
 Baby Gem Lettuce - 1

• In a large bowl knead the minced beef, egg yolks, garlic powder, oyster sauce and bread crumbs until well combined.

• Divide the beef into 4 equal sized pieces. If you have a burger press then make burgers as your press describes, alternatively use a chefs ring or make a ball shape and flatten gently with the palm of your hand.

• Fry the burgers on both sides until lightly charred and cooked through. On the final turn place the sliced cheddar on top to melt.

• Warm or lightly toast the burger buns, and fill with a couple of crispy lettuce leaves and the burger, followed by a slice of tomato and then the most important part - a good dollop of Chillato Chutney.

"Dear Spices of India, I ordered a variety of spices from you so I could cook some indian dishes from scratch for the very first time. I was extremely impressed with the range of products available on your site and at how easy it was to find what I needed - I would have never have been able to source them locally! Thanks for the excellent service and I will definitely be using you again."
