Ingredients: | Minced Beef (not lean) - 500g | |
| Egg Yolks - 2

| Garlic Powder - 1 tsp

| Oyster Sauce - 50 ml
| |
| White Bread - 5 slices blitzed to crumbs | |
| Black Pepper - to taste

| Salt - to taste

| Cheddar Cheese slices - 4

| Chillato Chutney - 4 tbsps

| Burger Buns - 4

| Beef Tomato Slices - 4

| Baby Gem Lettuce - 1

Method: | • In a large bowl knead the minced beef, egg yolks, garlic powder, oyster sauce and bread crumbs until well combined.
• Divide the beef into 4 equal sized pieces. If you have a burger press then make burgers as your press describes, alternatively use a chefs ring or make a ball shape and flatten gently with the palm of your hand.
• Fry the burgers on both sides until lightly charred and cooked through. On the final turn place the sliced cheddar on top to melt.
• Warm or lightly toast the burger buns, and fill with a couple of crispy lettuce leaves and the burger, followed by a slice of tomato and then the most important part - a good dollop of Chillato Chutney.
