Chicken Jalfrezi

Ingredients: |
1/2 jar Nishaan Curry Base |

1 tsp Minced Ginger |
| |
1 tsp Minced Garlic |
| |
1/2 Red Pepper (thinly sliced) |
| |
1/2 Green Pepper (thinly sliced) |
| |
1/2 Yellow Pepper (thinly sliced) |
| |
1 Tomato (roughly chopped) |
| |
500g Chicken Breast (skinned, washed and dried) |
| |
2 tsp East End Jalfrezi Masala |
| |
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves |
| |
Hot Green Chillies (Optional) |
Instructions: |
1. Put the Nishaan Curry Base, Minced Ginger and Minced Garlic in a pan and cook for on high for 3-minutes stirring frequently.
2. Add the sliced red and green Peppers and continue to stir fry for a further 3-minutes.
3. Add the roughly chopped tomato and chicken and cook on low heat until the chicken is done (about 20 minutes). Stir occasionally taking care that the pepper slices do not break.
4. Add the East End Jalfrezi Masala Masala and cook for 3-minutes on medium heat.
5. Garnish with fine slices of Yellow Pepper and Coriander Leaves.
For those that like their Jalfrezi hotter - add Fresh Hot Chillies to taste at the same time as the Red/Green Peppers.

Serve on a bed of basmati rice or with naan breads. |
