Slender, 2-3" long, with thin & pointed pods covered with a thin glossy skin, these red chillies mature to a deep red colour and are very hot - similar . Due to their thin skin, they are perfect for grinding into flakes when dried.These red chillies mature to a deep red colour. They are very hot and similar in flavour to jalapenos. Perfect for adding some extra spice to Mexican and other dishes such as chilli sauces, soups, stews and pizza toppings. Hot Chilli Flakes also go well in vinegars and hot pepper oils.
