The Chinthe (pronounced chin-thay) family business was established in 1974 when Bertie and Barbara began making and selling Burmese condiments to supplement their grocery trade. Today their grandchildren continue the tradition, using the same authentic recipes to produce this range of Burmese pickles, sauces and condiments.
Burmese Bamboo Shoot Pickle accompanies and compliments any rice dish. The crunchiness of the bamboo shoots adds texture in contrast to the rice and the spices give an added kick to the meal.
Chinthe Tip:
Burmese Bamboo Shoot Pickle is also delicious stir-fried on its own, or with prawns or pork, and served on a bed of noodles for a quick and tasy meal.
Ingredients:
Bamboo Shoots 50%, Vegetable Oil, Malt Vinegar (contains Gluten), Ginger, Garlic, Water, Spices, Salt.
Store in a cool dark place. Once opened, consume within 4 weeks.
