Crispy Paneer is a spicy starter. This deep fried Paneer or cottage cheese is an excellent recipe for any cocktail snack as well. Serve this tempting dish with some raw Onions and mint Chutney.

Ingredients:
Paneer / Cottage Cheese
cut into sticks - 200 gms
Gram Flour
- ¾ Cup
Ginger
grated - 1 tsp
Garlic
grated - 1 tsp
Kashmiri Chilli Powder
- ¾ tsp
Salt
to taste
Cumin Powder
- ¼ tsp
Oil
for frying
Turmeric Powder
- ¼ tsp
A pinch of
Baking Soda
Coriander Leaves / Cilantro
chopped - 1 Tbsp
Method:
• Mix all the ingredients except
Paneer
and
Oil
with little Water to make a batter.
• Cut the
Paneer / Cottage Cheese
into two inch sticks.
• Heat
Oil
in a pan, dip the Paneer into the batter and deep fry in the Oil till golden brown and crispy.
• Drain on an absorbent tissue and serve hot with some
Onions
and
Mint Chutney
.
