Countless different breads (Rotis) are eaten in India everyday and most are cooked fresh for every meal. Now you can also enjoy authentic, soft, hand-made breads quickly and easily.

This electric Roti maker combines the functions of a rolling pin (Belan), rolling board (Chakla), and griddle (Tava). It features non-stick plates and thermostatic controls and is also ideal for making Tortillas, Pittas and other flat breads from around the world .

You place a ball of the dough slightly off centre to the back of the bottom plate, press the handle and it will roll out in the shape of a chapatti. The heat elements will start cooking and after 25 seconds you flip the chapatti over.

In about another 20-25 seconds, air bubbles will begin to form on the surface of the Chapatti. As this happens, turn the Chapatti over and gently shut the upper plate of your Roti Maker.

(If you prefer you may cook keeping the cover open to puff the Chapatti/Roti). After a few seconds, the Chapatti will be puffing up from both sides and is ready to serve.

Recipes are included for Rotis, Bhakri, Methi Thepla, Dosa, Stuffed Paratha and Masala Khakra.
