Over 70 years ago, Mrs Fernandes started making curry pastes and pickles in Pune, India. Her authentic produce quickly found favour with the soldiers garrisoned locally, who couldn't stop to grind their own spices or preserve pickles.

Though much has changed with the passage of time, Mrs Fernandes' pastes and pickles are still made by her family in Pune, using only the best local spices and produce.

Use Ferns' Korma Curry Paste to make a delicious, fragrant and authentic soup.

Korma Curry Recipe:

Ingredients:

3 tsps Ferns' Korma Curry Paste
2 Chicken Breasts, diced
1 large Onion, finely chopped
2 Tomatoes, chopped
30ml Coconut Milk or 50g Creamed Coconut
1 tbsp Fresh Coriander, chopped
1 tbsp Almonds, flaked or ground
½ tsp Root Ginger, chopped
1 tsp Oil

Method:

Heat oil in a large frying pan, add the onion and chicken and saute for 5 minutes.

Add Ferns' Korma Curry Paste and continue frying for 2 minutes.

Once the chicken is cooked through, add the ginger, coriander, tomatoes, almonds and coconut milk.

Cook for a further 2 minutes and serve.

Ingredients: Water, Sunflower Oil, Chilli Powder, Salt, Coriander Powder, Tomato Puree, Turmeric Powder, Cumin Powder, Garlic Powder, Ginger Powder, Onion Powder, Curry Powder, Acetic Acid.
