Mulligatawny Curry Paste - Ferns

Recipe idea: Mulligatawny Soup

Ingredients:

250g Mutton or Beef
2 cups Coconut Milk
1 tsp Ginger
1 tsp Garlic
2 Small Onions
2 Medium Tomatoes
3 tsps Ferns' Mulligatawny Curry Paste
4 Curry Leaves
2 Lemons
Salt to Taste
5-6 cups Stock

Method:

1. Cut even cubes of mutton and cook seperately in 2 cups of stock.

2. Melt a little butter in a pan and add chopped ginger and garlic

3. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, Ferns' Mulligatawny Curry Paste and curry leaves. add 3 cups of stock and cook until vegetables are tender.

4. Add the mutton pieces, cocnut milk and salt. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Adjust the seasoning to taste.

Serve hot with lemon juice.

Ingredients: Water, Chilli Powder, Sesame Oil, Coriander Powder, Salt, Tamarind, Cummin Seed Powder, Split Mustard, Turmeric Powder, Whole Mustard, Vinegar.
