Roasted Eggplant mash cooked with fresh garlic, herbs and roasted dry spices.
A traditional vegetarian speciality from northern india, Baingan Bharta is eggplant roasted slowly over an open charcoal fire. it is then mashed and seasoned with fresh garlic and roasted spices and sautéed with onions and tomatoes. Finally topped with a dash if clarified butter, baingan bharta is the delightof every taste bud.
Garnished with strips of green chillies and coriander, with "raita" and hot indian flat breads like nan, paratha, chappati, or pitta bread.
To heat:
Stove top: Immerse puch in boiling water fro 3-5minutes. Remove, cut open, stir and serve.
Microwave oven: Empty the contents of the pack in an oven bowl. cover and heat for 1-2 minutes. stir and serve.
Tip: Garnish with freshly chopped green coriander leaves.
