Dhansak is the all time favourite dish of the Parsis-Zoroastrians who fled for religious persecution in iran, during the eigth century, and setlled in india. The 'national' dish of Parsis, Dhansak is probably the most satisfying of curries. A lip smacking melange of vegetables, lentils and rice, Dhansak is nice and medium hot with a fruity sweetness absorbed by the lentils.
To heat:
Stove top: Immerse pouch in boiling water for 3-5minutes. remove, cut open, stir and serve.
Microwave oven: Empty the contents of the pack in an oven bowl. cover and heat for 1-2 minutes. Stir and serve.
Tip: Garnish with freshly chopped green coriander leaves.
