A delectable union of Moghul and North Indian cuisine, Paneer Tikka Masala is a delicious combination of charcoal grilled Indian cottage Cheese (ricotta) cubes in a spicy sauce. The grilled cheese cubes are first marinated in a special mixture of red spices and yoghurt and then roasted slowly in an Indian clay oven called a Tandoor. The grilled cheese cubes are then cooked slowly in a delicate medium spicy sauce, which is rich in cream and butter.
A tongue tingling favourtire of Indian gourmets, Paneer Tikka Masala is an ideal dish complemented by Tandoori rotis and naans.
To prepare: simply immerse the foil pouch in boiling water for 3-5 minutes, or empty the contents into a microwave bowl and heat in a microwave oven for 1-2 minutes.
