Rava Idli - Wheat Cake Mix - Gits

Available in 200g and 500g packs.

Soft and tasty, Lightly spiced, steamed semolina cakes.

Make 12 Idlis of approx. 40g each in 3 Easy Steps:

• Mix contents of the 200g pack with 300 ml water. Add 2 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves. Stir to a smooth batter and set aside for 10 mins.

• Lightly grease a set of Idli moulds with oil. Stir batter gently and pour 30 ml batter into each mould.

• Boil 600ml water in a large steaming vessel or pressure cooker. Place Idli moulds inside. Cover and steam on high heat for 15 mins. If pressure cooker is used, do not apply weight/whistle. Serve steaming hot, fluffy side up with Gits Instant Sambar and coconut chutney.

Ingredients: Semolina, lentils, hydrogenated vegetable oil, cashew nuts, salt, raising agents (citric acid, sodium bicarbonate), dehy. green chillies, dehy. curry leaves, mustard seeds, dried ginger powder, fenugreek powder, asafoetida powder and permitted anti-oxidant E320.
