Freshly Milled and Packed in the U.K.
Recipe for Chapatis:
Makes 8 Chapatis.
Ingredients:
2 cups
Natco Chapati Flour
¾ cup of tepid Water
1 tbsp
Butter Ghee
½ tsp
Salt
Method:
• In a large bowl mix in the
Chapati Flour
,
Butter Ghee
and
Salt
. Rub well and add all the Water. Knead the dough well until it is soft and pliable. Put to one side for 10 minutes.
• Divide the dough into golf ball size pieces, dust with dry
Flour
and roll out until approximately 6 inches in diameter.
• Heat a heavy Griddle or
Chapati Tava
with a little
Butter Ghee
until hot. Place the Chapatis in the hot pan, heating each side for 1½ minutes or until small bubbles appear and the Chapati has turned brown.
• Remove from the pan, brush with a little
Butter Ghee
and serve hot with vegetable and lentil dishes.
Free from any preservatives or additives / May contain traces of Nuts.
