Tikka Masala Curry Paste (Coriander and Lemon) Medium - Pataks

Patak's Curry Pastes make excellent marinades, used on their own or blended 50:50 with plain yogurt. Marinate meat then bake, BBQ or grill.

Suggested Recipe: Chicken Tikka Masala

Serves 2

Ingredients:
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 Medium Onion, Diced
70g - 1/4 jar Patak's Tikka Masala Curry Paste
250g Diced Chicken Breast
400g Fresh or Canned Chopped Tomatoes
1 tsp Fresh Chopped Coriander Leaf (optional)
100ml ingle Cream or Plain Yoghurt
100ml water

Method:

• In a medium sized pan, gently fry the onions in oil until golden.

• Stir in Patak's Tikka Masala Paste, add chicken and stir fry until sealed.

• Add tomatoes and water, mix well and cover pan. Simmer on a low heat for 20mins.

• Stir in cream or yoghurt and garnish with chopped coriander leaf (optional).

• Equally delicious with beef, lamb or prawns.

Meena Pathak's Tip: For a special Tikka Masala, stir creamed coconut into the sauce during cooking or finish with double cream instead of yogurt.

Suitable for vegetarians and gluten free.

Ingredients: Vegetable Oil, Water, Concentrated Tomato Puree (11%), Salt, Coriander (6%), Turmeric, Sugar, Dried Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Lemon Juice (4%), Dessicated Ccoconut (3%), Maize Starch, Spices (contains Mustard), Acetic Acid, Dried Coriander Leaf, Lactic Acid, Colour: Paprika Extract.

This product contains mustard and may contain traces of peanut or tree nuts.

It is important that this product is not consumed uncooked.
