Bihari Kebab Mix for Tender Barbecue Meat Strips

Easy to Cook - Hard to Resist!

Recipe in Urdu, Hindi, Arabic & Bangla inside.
Ingredients: Coriander, Red Chilli, Paprika, Salt, Ginger, Garlic, Musk Melon, Dehydrated Onion, Long Black Pepper, Carom, Bay Leaf, Black Cumin, Black Pepper, Green Cardamom, Cumin, Dill Seeds.

If there are any allergens in the ingredients they are marked as bold.

Recipe suggestion #1:
Bihari Kebab (Extra Tender BBQ Meat Strips)

Serves 6-8 persons.

Required Ingredients:

Boneless Beef/Chicken - 1kg 1' wide, thin, long strips/small cubes
Raw Papaya with skin - ground, 200g
Onions - 4 medium finely sliced/ 300g
Ginger Paste - 1½ tbsp/40g
Garlic Paste - 1½ tbsp/30g
Plain whipped Yogurt - ½ cup/100g
Ghee/Oil - ½ cup/85g
Shan Bihari Seekh Kebab BBQ Mix - One packet (or less if wanted milder)


• Deep fry the onions in hot oil until golden. Remove from Ghee/oil and spread on an absorbent paper. Allow to cool, then crush coarsely.

• Mix Shan Bihari Kebab BBQ Mix, Ghee, crushed fried Onions, Ginger, Garlic, Yogurt and raw Papaya. Apply to the Meat and put to one side for 3-4 hours.

• Thread the meat on the skewers and frill on a very low heat until the Kebabs are well done and brown on all sides. Turn the skewers periodically to grill evenly. If Kebabs fall, wrap thread around them.

Serving Suggestion: Serve Bihari kebabs with Tamarind Chutney and onion rings rinsed in cold water.

Bagharay Bihari Kebabs:

Include the following ingredients in the above recipe:

Use the following additional ingredients in the above recipe:

Whipped plain yogurt - ½ cup
Ghee - 1 cup/175g

• Follow the above recipe until step No. 1. Then mix all the ingredients together including the additional ingredients except Ghee/Oil and put to one side for 3-4 hours.

• Heat the Ghee/Oil and add the Meat mixture. Fry on a high heat until the Oil separates from the Gravy. Then remove from the heat. Stir continuously.

• Place a small piece of red hot coal in a small utensil and keep it inside the cooked meat pot. Pour a tablespoon of Ghee over the coal and cover the pot for a few minutes. Then remove the coal.

Safety Note: The above step is recommended on the product packaging. We recommend extreme caution if handling hot coal. Perhaps restrict the use of this step to outdoor BBQ or Tandoor Oven cooking sessions.

Serving Suggestion: Serve with Onion rings, chopped Green Chillies, Lime Juice and double Roti/buns.
