A mix for Peshawari style Spicy Groung Meat Patties.
Recipe:
600g minced meat with suet
2 ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced
3 onions, finely diced
3-4 green chillies, finely chopped
3 tbsp ginger, coarsely ground
3 tbsp garlic, coarsely ground
2 eggs, whisked
500g ghee/oil for deep frying
Packet Shan Chappli Kebab mix
1. Kneed together the Chappli Kebab mix, minced meat, onion, green chillies, ginger,garlic, eggs and 3tbsp ghee. Mix to a smooth paste and leave aside for 30 minutes.
2. With wet hands, form thin flat round Kebabs. Pllace a slice of tomato on one side of the kebab, and then deep fry in hot ghee until crisp brown.
Serve hot with diced fresh salad.
Ingredients: salt, red chilli, coriander, cumin, ginger, garlic, dehydrated onion, pomegranate seeds, extra fine flour wheat/corn, black pepper, black cumin, cinnamon, mace, bay leaf, fenugreek leaves, carom, citric acid (E330).
