A delicious blend of spices and lentil flour to make authentic vegetable pakoras and onion bhajis

Simply make up the batter by adding a cup of water to the Shan mix, and blend well. Set aside for 15 minutes, then dip onions or your choice of vegetable pieces in the batter and deep fry until golden brown.

Serve plain with your favourite chutnies for a delicious snack, or sprinkle with a chaat masala for a spicier dish.

Ingredients: split yellow pea flour, salt, red chilli, cumin, coriander, fenugreek leaves, black pepper, aniseed, pomegranate seeds, garlic, sodium acid prophosphate E450a, sodium bicarbonate E500, asafoetida.
