Mix for Sindhi Style Hot and Spicy Pilaf

Easy to Cook - Hard to Resist!

Recipe in Urdu, Hindi, Arabic & Bangla inside.

Ingredients:
Salt, Red Chilli, Dried Plums with Pits, Paprika, Coriander, Turmeric, Cumin, Cinnamon, Clove, Black Pepper, Ginger, Black Cumin, Fennel, Carom, Brown Cardamom, Natural & Artificial Food Flavours, (Screw Pine), Papain.

Recipe suggestion #1:
Sindhi Biryani (Sindhi Style Spicy Pilaf)

Serves 6-8 persons.

Required Ingredients:

Beef/Chicken/Mutton - 500-750g small cubed with bones
Basmati Rice - 500-750g/3-4 cups, washed & soaked for 30 mins
Whipped Yogurt ½ cup/100g
Tomatoes - 3 medium /200g, round slices
Potatoes - 3-4 medium, peeled and halved/250g
Onions - 3 medium finely sliced/175g/1 ½ cups
Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp/20g
Ginger - 3 tbsp/25g, chopped
Small Green Chillies - 25 whole/25g
Green Coriander - 1 cup/ 1 bunch chopped
Mint Leaves - 1 cup/1 bunch chopped
Ghee/Oil - 1- 1½ cups/175-250g
Shan Sindhi Biryani Mix - one packet

Cooking Instructions:

• Fry the Onions in Ghee/Oil on a medium heat until golden. Add the Meat, Garlic, Potatoes and stir. Fry for 10 minutes.

• Add the Shan Masalaydar Sindhi Biryani Mix, Yogurt, Ginger, Green Chillies and stir. Fry for 5 minutes.

• Add one glass of water. Cover and cook on a low heat until the Meat is tender. When the Meat is cooked, there should be about two cups of gravy. (If more, increase the heat, if less add water).

• Move the cooked Meat to a larger pot. Spread Tomatoes, Green Coriander and Mint Leaves over the Meat. Do not mix Meat and the Green Masala. Cover and cook on a low heat for about 10 minutes.

• Separately in 12 cups of hot Water, stir in 3 tablespoons of Salt. Add the soaked Rice and boil until the Rice is more than half cooked. Remove and thoroughly drain. Spread the cooked Rice evenly over the Meat. Do not mix the Rice and the Meat. Cover and cook on a low heat until the Rice is tender. Mix before serving.

Serving Suggestion: Garnish with Fried Onions. Serve with diced Salad in Vinegar.

Tips for best results: Meat: use breast and shoulder cuts with bones.
