Jalfrezi Curry Sauce - Sharwoods

Sharwoods have created this Jalfrezi, characteristic of the Punjab region of India, by fusing gently cooked tomatoes with fruity red and green peppers and a garam masala of roasted spices to give a fresh and fruity taste. A base of roasted spices simmered with fried onion masala has been used to give this sauce a well rounded flavour.

Chicken Jalfrezi: Serves 2-3.

Simply heat a little oil in a pan, add 2-3 chopped chicken breasts and fry until golden, Stir in this jar of sauce, cover and simmer for 15-minutes or until the chicken is cooked.

Tastes great with Naans, Poppodoms and Mango Chutneys.
