This authentic hard-anodised non-stick Karahi is made from the highly conductive, virtually pure virgin aluminium. It comes with a see-through, heat-resistant, lid which allows you to keep a lid on your cooking and an eye on it too. Now there is no over cooked or raw food even when the lid is on and the glass lid retains the essential aroma of the food.

For the cook this means cooking in a pot that is more fuel efficient, scratch resistant, and a surface that will not be damaged by metallic spoons, and flexible metal spatulas.

The heavy gauge aluminium used allows even distribution of heat on the bottom and up the sides of the pots with no hot-spots. The surface does not interact with or alter the colour of food.

Its ultra smooth surface is extremely easy to clean and does not require any special maintenance. Riveting in most of the pots has been avoided. This has been done to ensure cleaning and no carryover food in the nick of the rivets.

The handles have been especially designed for durability and aesthetic value. They shall remain relatively cool during cooking.

Hard anodised aluminium cookware is NOT a coating, but an integral part of the metal, built up molecule by molecule to a thickness of more than 50 microns by a carefully controlled electrochemical process. This completely transforms the soft aluminium surface into an extremely stable and hard surface which is equivalent to the hardness of the precious stone, Sapphire (about 2.5 times harder than stainless steel).
