Ingredients:
Garlic, Ginger, Eater, Vegetable Oil, Red Chilli, Salt, Coriander, Cumin Seeds, Black Pepper, Cardamoms, Fenugreek Leaves, Mono Sodium Glutamat (321) & Acetic Acid.
Recipe for Karahi / Fry
(Fried meat with tomatoes & green chillies)
750g - Meat (Mutton, Chicken or Beef) Small Pieces
250g - Tomatoes medium sized (Ripe, Unripe & Cut)
4-6 (or to taste) - Whole Green Chillies (Medium)
1 inch piece / 20g - Ginger Slices/Shreds
125g - Ghee / Cooking Oil
65g -
LAZIZA KARAHI / FRY PASTE
Easy Steps:
1. In a small utensil, put meat, ginger slices, 2-3 tablespoons (about 65g) Laziza Karahi/Fry Paste & add 1/2 to 1 glass of water. Cover & cook on low/medium flame until tender (ensure that, when the meat is tender at least 1 cup of liquid curry should remain).
2. In a separate utensil fry tomatoes for about 10 minutes in ghee/oil until half done. Now put meat with curry, whole green chillies to the fried tomatoes.
3. Cover and cook on high flame for 4-5 minutes and then 8-10 minutes on low flame. Garnish with chopped green coriander & serve with fresh salad.
Fry Meat recipe:
Add half a cup (75g) plain yoghurt & remove ginger from above recipe
1. Put meat, 2-3 tablespoons (about 65g) Laziza Karahi/Fry Paste and stir fry for 2-4 minutes.
2. Now put yoghurt & tomatoes and cook until tender & ghee/oil separates.
3. Add green chillies about 5-10 minutes before tenderising. Garnish with chopped green coriander. Fry meat is ready.
