This sauce has an appetising flavour for preparing Sweet and Sour Pork/ Spare Ribs, the favourite Cantonese-style Chinese dish.
Recipe suggestions:
Sweet & Sour Pork / Spare ribs:
Serves 2-3
• Mix 150g sliced pork fillet or chopped spare ribs with marinade [Salt 1/2 tsp, Sugar 1 tsp, beaten egg 1 tbsp].
• Dust pork fillet with corn starch and deep-fry in hot oil until golden yellow and cooked. Drain.
• Saute ½ diced red pepper and 2 slices pineapple (cut in pieces)in 1 tbsp oil.
• Add one sachet Lee Kum Kee Sauce For Sweet and Sour Pork/Spare Ribs and heat through.
• Add fried pork fillet and stir well.
Sweet and Sour Chicken:
Serves 4
• Stir-fry 120g diced chicken breast in 1 tsp oil until cooked.
• Add 120g diced pineapple, 50g diced red and 50g diced green peppers and one sachet Lee Kum Kee Sauce For Sweet and Sour Pork/Spare Ribs. Stir well until heated through.
Ingredients:
Water, White Sugar, Corn Syrup Powder, Concentrated Pineapple Juice 7%, Tomato Paste 4%, Modified Corn Starch, Acid E260, Salt, Colours (E160c, E160a), Stabiliser E415. Contains Wheat, Soybean.
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, consume immediately.
