Rasam Powder - MTR - 200g

The promise of Purity.

Ingredients:
Coriander (50%), Chilli, Cumin, Fenugreek, Refined Palmolein Oil and Asafoetida.

Directions:

• Cook a small container full (75g) of Redgram Dal in 1 Litre of Water, with 1 tsp refined Vegetable Oil and a pinch of Turmeric. Churn the cooked Dal and keep aside.

• Boil 3-4 tsp (20g) of MTR Rasam Powder ground with Tamarind Juice, Jaggery and Salt to Taste.

• Add Chopped Tomatoes (75g) for better flavour.

• Add the cooked Dal and Water if necessary. Boil for about 10-minutes.

• Add 1 tsp of Mustard and Curry Leaves and a pinch of Asafoetida seasoned in Ghee.

Serving tip:
Garnish with finely cut Coriander Leaves.
Enjoy as a Soup or serve with Rice.

Makes 10 litres of Rasam.
