Mint Chutney is a delicious dip for many Indian Chats like Cutlets or Samosas. This Chutney is also a perfect spread for your Picnic Sandwiches as well!

Ingredients:
Fresh Mint Leaves - 150 gms
Garlic - 2 cloves
Ginger - 1" Piece
Green Chillies - 2
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Lime Juice - 2 tsp
Tempering (optional):
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Pinch of Asafoetida
Method:
• Wash Mint, Green Chillies, Garlic and Ginger thoroughly.
• Blend all the ingredients into a smooth paste. If required add a little Water while grinding.
• Optionally add tempering to enhance the flavour- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and asafoetida.
