Personal Shopper and Packer
We have a permanent vacancy for a ‘Personal Shopper & Packer’ to work in our warehouse based on the Uddens Industrial Estate, Wimborne, Dorset.
You will be responsible for ensuring all customer orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately and on time and will assist in all daily operations of the warehouse.
Responsibilities will include:
• To accurately pick stock to match customer orders.
• To ensure that all customer orders/goods are double checked and packed for daily despatch.
• To ensure goods are packaged appropriately to eliminate damage in transit.
• To ensure all orders are packed and ready for collection at the earliest opportunity each day.
• To assist in loading and unloading deliveries, restocking and rotating stock on shelves.
• To monitor levels of stock and packaging materials.
• To assist the process of collections with our carrier.
• To ensure a good level of housekeeping is maintained at all times throughout the warehouse.
• To assist with any other operations of the warehouse as required.
Minimum 30 hours per week: Monday 9am-5.30pm, Tuesday 9am-5.30pm, Wednesday 10am-5.30pm, Thursday 10am-5.30pm with some flexibility. Possible additional hours as business requires.
Good literacy skills required but no experience necessary. Full training will be given.
A good eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy are vital for this role.
