Hob Method:
• Boil 25g Rice in 1 litre Water with 1 tbsp Oil, 1 tbsp Lemon Juice, 1½ tsp Salt. Cook till ¾ done (12-15 minutes). Drain excess water and keep aside.
• Take 300g cut Vegetables (Potato, Cauliflower, Peas, French Beans, Capsicum, Carrot etc), entire contents of this packet, 100g Curd (Plain Yoghurt) and 300ml Water in a saucepan. Mix well, cover with a lid and cook for 18-20 minutes.
• Spread the cooked Rice on the cooked vegetables in an even layer. Add Cashew Nuts, Raisins and 1 tbsp Butter Ghee.
• Mix 1 tbsp Milk with Kesar (Saffron) / ¼ tsp Turmeric and spread over Rice.
• Cover with a heavy lid and let it cook on steam for 8-10 minutes, on a low heat.
