Only from the Oaxacan region of Mexico, the Pasilla De Oaxaca Chilli is mainly used for rellenos where the chilli is stuffed with cheese and deep fried. It has a smoked, fruity flavour with a sharp, lingering heat.

Hotter than a Chipotle but also smoked, this is an under-rated chilli, excellent in bean dishes and soups. It is great for adding the smoky richness of bacon / ham to vegetarian dishes.

Rehydrate in warm water for 20 minutes before use.

Store in a dark, cool & dry place.
