Ingredients: Red Chilli, Salt, Paprika, Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, Musk Melon, Papain, Roasted Chick Pea, Green Cardamom, Clove, Mace, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Garlic, All Spice.

Recipe Suggestion:

Pasanda Curry - serves 6-8

1 kg beef/chicken/mutton, cut into thin fillets
250g onion, finely sliced
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp ginger paste
250g plain yogurt
175g ghee/oil
Shan Pasanda Curry Mix

• Fry the onions in ghee/hot oil until golden. Remove from oil and drain on kitchen paper. Allow to cool and then crush coarsely.

• Mix together the Pasanda Curry Mix, yogurt, fried onions, garlic and ginger and apply to the meat. Set aside for 1-2 hours.

• Heat the ghee/oil and add the meat fillets/Pasandas along with the Masala and cook on a low heat until the meat is tender, adding water if necessary.

Serve with naans or roti.
