Pasanda Curry Mix - Shan

Ingredients: Red Chilli, Salt, Paprika, Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, Musk Melon, Papain, Roasted Chick Pea, Green Cardamom, Clove, Mace, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Garlic, All Spice.

Recipe Suggestion:

Pasanda Curry - serves 6-8

1 kg beef/chicken/mutton, cut into thin fillets
250g onion, finely sliced
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp ginger paste
250g plain yogurt
175g ghee/oil
Shan Pasanda Curry Mix

1. Fry the onions in ghee/hot oil until golden. Remove from oil and drain on kitchen paper. Allow to cool and then crush coarsely.

2. Mix together the Pasanda Curry Mix, yogurt, fried onions, garlic and ginger and apply to the meat. Set aside for 1-2 hours.

3. Heat the ghee/oil and add the meat fillets/Pasandas along with the Masala and cook on a low heat until the meat is tender, adding water if necessary.

Serve with naans or roti.
