Spicy Asparagus

Spicy Asparagus a easy and tasty way of eating the bland veggie. As we know its packed with Vitamins - so why not spice it up and serve as a starter or just a side dish?

Ingredients:

Asparagus cut into few pieces and blanched - 500 g
 
 Butter - 2 tbsp
 
 Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
 
 Ginger grated - 1 tbsp
 
 Garam Masala - ½ tsp
 
 Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
 
 Salt about 1 tsp
 
 Red Chilies coarsely crushed - ½ tsp
 
 Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
 
 Garnish with roasted Sesame Seeds or Walnuts
 

Method:

• Heat Butter in a pan, add the Cumin Seeds and allow it to splutter.

• Then add the the Ginger and saute for few seconds.

• Add the Asparagus and reduce the heat.

• Then add the Garam Masala, Coriander Powder, Salt, Turmeric and Chillies.

• Now mix well and transfer it into a serving dish.

• Garnish with some Sesame Seeds, Walnuts or any Cheese!
