Originating from the Kari tree of Southwest Asia, Curry Leaves are an important aromatic flavouring for curries and soups.

Curry Leaves are an essential ingredient of curry powder, green chutneys and marinade pastes and are used mainly in Southern Indian cooking.

When starting a curry or soup dish, fry the Curry Leaves in oil until crisp.
