A Tandoor is a clay oven traditionally used over a fire.

Made of terracotta, this hand thrown cooking pot can be heated to the highest temperatures, so enabling you to create the effects of a traditional Indian Tandoor within your own oven.

The pot has been designed to fit a standard size oven and measures approx 17cm diameter and 25cm tall.

During cooking, steam condenses on the lid of the pot and in effect, bastes the food in it's own juices throughout cooking. When cooked, the food will be moist, tender and full of flavour.
