Hot and Spicy Fried Chicken Coating - Tex's

This has been a true family favourite for over 50 years, giving an aromatic, unique and delicious flavour with the real tropical taste.

Directions:
For best results - do not add salt.

Wash the chicken portions and dip into whisked egg or milk. Put some of the chicken coating in a bowl or polythene bag. Add the chicken portions into the coating, ensuring they are completely coated. Deep fry the coated chicken pieces for 12-15 minutes or oven bake at 190C / Gas Mark 5 until completely cooked, turning as required.

Serve with rice, vegetables, pasta, salads, chips or potatoes.

Ingredients: Wheatflour, Salt, Flavour Enhancer E621, Black Pepper, Sage, Celery Seed, White Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, Garlic Powder, Nutmeg, Onion Powder, Rusk, Raising Agents E431,500.
