Method of Preparation of Hyderabadi Tandoori Chicken:
Important:
No need to add Salt, Garlic, Ginger, Red Chilli or anything else apart from the ingredients given below. Increase all quantities proportionally for serving more than 5 people. Follow instructions below for best results.
Ingredients: (Serves 5)
Chicken with bones, skinless, cut into 4 leg quarters - 1kg
Cooking oil - 45ml / 3 tablespoons
Edible Orange or Red Food Colour - 2-3 pinches / 1g
Ustad Banne Nawab's Hyderabadi Tandoori Chicken Masala - one packet
Method:
• Cut small slits in the Chicken pieces with a knife.
• In a bowl put 45ml 3 tablespoons of oil, Tandoori Chicken Masala Mix and Edible Orange/Red Food Colour and mix thoroughly.
• Rub the above paste thoroughly over the Chicken and marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
• Place the Chicken under the grill or on a barbeque grill and grill until the chicken is done, turning it over every 15 minutes.
• Serve hot.
