Kuhne Red Wine Vinegar is made in the traditional way by naturally fermenting and maturing the red wine. This full-bodied vinegar (acidity 6%) is delicious in robustly flavoured salad dressings, marinades and sauces, especially for red meats.
Red Wine Marinade
• 2 spring onions, finely chopped • 6 peppercorns • 150ml Red Wine Sauvignon vinegar • 150ml olive oil • 300ml dry red wine • mixed herbs, to taste
Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, then use to marinade 900g meat.
For other delicious variations, try adding mango chutney, mustard, sun-dried tomatoes or garlic.
