• Wafer thin Indian lentil crackers
• Suitable for vegetarians
Instructions:

Microwave: lightly brush one side of a pappadum with low-fat oil. Place on a paper towel, then microwave for 60-90 seconds.

Deep Fry: heat oil in a large, deep pan to 200c. Test by dropping small piece of pappadum into oil. If it starts to bubble and expand, the oil is hot enough. Gently deep fry the pappadums one at a time, holding under the oil with tongs, for 3-4 seconds. Place pappadum upright and drain excess oil, then serve.

Grill / BBQ: Place pappadum under hot grill and cook until golden.

Open Flames: Roast pappadums one at a time over low gas flame. Turn frequently using tongs.
Ingredients: Urad Dal Flour (Matpe Lentil Flour), Green Chilli, Salt, Bi-Carbonate Soda (E500), Cottonseed Oil, Asafoetida.
