A favourite vegetarian dish from the Punjab, bursting with flavour, it is as nutritious as it is delicious.

Sarso Ka Saag is a very popular vegetable curry made from mustard leaves and spinach, with fresh herbs, spices and butter blended in onion and tomato, tempured with chillies and garlic for a smooth textured finish.

Absolutely delicious with Indian bread: Naan, Paratha or Chapatti. It is traditionally served with 'Makai Ki Roti' - a flat bread made from Corn Flour.
To Prepare: simply immerse the foil pouch in boiling water for 3-5 minutes, or empty the contents into a microwave bowl and heat in a microwave oven for 1-2 minutes.
Ingredients: Mustard Leaves 25%, Spinach, Turnip, Onion, Tomato, Ghee / Clarified Butter (Milk), Green Sorrel Leaves, Fenugreek Leaves, Raddish, Corn Flour, Ginger, Chilli, Salt, Sugar.

Testimonial:

"Dear Spices of India, Fantastic service, superb prices, amazing range of products, unbelievable :-) will be telling all my friends and I will be back...I am praising the search engine god that i found you. Not only do you stock all kinds of spices, more importantly than ALL that is the nag champa, I haven't been to India this year, and there really is no where to buy the kind of things you stock where I live, the nearest shop is 7 miles away, and you're lucky if they have milk and bread never mind cumin seeds, lol. Thanks again."
