|Suggested Recipe: 'Chickpea Curry'|
Chick peas / Kabuli Chana (Soaked in water for 2-3 hrs) - (200g)
Onion - (100g) finely sliced
Tomatoes - (100g) diced
Green chillies - 2 to 4 chopped
Green coriander (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
Ghee/Cooking Oil - (75g)
Laziza Chana Masala - (30g)
Meetha Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) - 1 tablespoon
• Boil soaked chana in 3-4 glasses of water for about 2-3 hours. Now add soda & cook for further 1 hour or until chick peas are tender. (Tinned chick peas can be used without soaking and pre-cooking).
• Fry sliced onions in ghee/oil until golden. Add Tomatoes, Laziza Chana Masala, Chick Peas and enough water to achieve consistency you require. Cook on high flame for 10-20 mins. Add green chillies and chopped green coriander. Sprinkle with Laziza Chaat Masala and Lemon Juice to taste.
