Recipe Suggestion
Qeema
1kg minced meat 250g onions, finely chopped 3-4 green chillies, finely chopped - to taste 150g ghee/cooking oil ½ bunch green coriander, chopped 1 sachet Laziza Qeema Masala 30g ginger, shredded finely - optional
• Fry the sliced onion in the ghee/cooking oil for 10 minutes.
• Add the minced meat, Qeema Masala, and shredded ginger (if using) and fry for 10 - 15 minutes.
• Add 1-2 cups of water, cover and cook over a low heat until tender.
• Add the green chillies and cook until the ghee/cooking oil separates.
• Serve garnished with coriander and fresh lemon.
Variations:
• For Masala Qeema, add 150ml yogurt and 150g chopped tomatoes during Step 1 above.
• For Aloo or Peas Qeema, simply add potatoes or peas.
Dam ka Qeema
1kg minced meat 75g raw papaya, mashed with skin 200g ghee/cooking oil 1 sachet Qeema Masala Chopped green coriander and green chillies - to taste
• Mix together the minced meat, Qeema Masala and papaya and set aside for 1-2 hours.
• Heat the ghee/cooking oil and stir fry the minced meat mixture until the ghee separates, stirring occasionally. |
