Patak's Korma Paste Pots: an authentic blend of aromatic spices, tomato, coriander and coconut for a beautifully balanced Korma dish

Just the right amount of 11 spices, expertly balanced and blended, packed into a handy pot, to create Indian dishes bursting with flavour. 2 x 70g pots - each pot serves 2.
Chicken Korma for 2:

1 Patak's Korma Paste Pot
1 onion, diced
300g chicken, diced
200ml coconut milk
25ml double cream

• Heat a little oil in a pan, add the diced onion and fry gently until soft.

• Add the Paste Pot and 50ml water, cook until the water has evaporated.

• Add the diced chicken, cook until sealed.

• Add the coconut milk and double cream, and simmer uncovered until the chicken is cooked through.

• Enjoy with steaming hot rice or delicious buttery naan breads.

Tip: try adding 25ml creamed coconut with the coconut milk, and then 1tsp each finely chopped garlic and ginger as you add the Paste Pot.

Recipe for Malai Kebab for 4

100g full fat yogurt
1 Patak's Korma Paste Pot
25g cheddar cheese, grated
1tbsp garlic puree
1tbsp ginger puree
150ml double cream
1tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
2tbsp oil
600g chicken mini fillets
1 egg, beaten
1tsp flour
Salt to taste
Wooden skewers

• In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients for the marinade except the chicken and wooden skewers.

• Add the chicken and rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or if possible overnight.

• Soak the wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes. This will stop them burning while cooking the kebabs.

• Thread the marinated chicken on the soaked skewers and cook under the grill for 12- 15 minutes, turning them occasionally, until cooked.

• Alternately cook in a pre-heated oven at 190C for 4-5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.

• Serve hot with your favoutite chutney and salad.
Ingredients: Water, Ground Spices 12% (Coriander (4%), Turmeric, Spices, Paprika, Cumin, Fenugreek), Rapeseed Oil, Sugar, Concentrated Tomato Puree 5%, Salt, Maize Flour, Ginger Puree, Garlic Puree, Desiccated Coconut 3%, Acid (Acetic Acid), Dried Onion, Mustard Powder, Dried Coriander Leaf.
