Closely related to the Ancho Chilli, Mulato Chillies have a much deeper colour and smokier flavour. They have a mild, warm heat tasting of liquorice and cherries and chocolate.
Mulato Chillies are one of the three key chilli ingredients used in Mole sauce.
Rehydrate in warm water for 20 minutes before use.
Store in a dark, cool & dry place.
