Natco Gram Flour (Besan) is made from 100% pure Chana Dal (Yellow Gram) and is perfect for preparing Onion Bhajis, traditional Potato and Vegetable Pakoras and some sweet dishes.

Onion Bhaji:

Ingredients:
2 level cups Natco Gram Flour
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
1/4 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
2 medium Onions, finely chopped

Method:

• Mix ingredients in a bowl with 1/4 pint of water, mix to a thick batter. Set aside for 5-minutes.

• Take a heaped tablespoon of mix and drop carefully in hot oil in a deep fryer. Fry for about 3-minutes until Bhajis become crisp and golden.

• Drain thoroughly on kitchen paper.

• Serve as a starter or part of a main meal.

Natco Gram Flour is suitable for vegetarians. It is packed in a factory that handles nuts in a separate area.
