55g of BBQ know-how!

"We promise cooks of all abilities really can 'make it' at home with our spice kits, rubs & chutneys..."Spicentice

With their range of 24 spice kits, 7 spice blends & rubs and 3 tasty chutneys to choose from, Spicentice offer some spicy inspiration for everyone - including ideas for meat, fish, vegetarian and side dishes.

Introducing Spicentice's new RUBS, inspired by recipes from around the world, for a simple way to add flavour to your dishes.

Whether you want to jazz up your teatime cheese on toast with a sprinkle of 'Italian' or impress the neighbours with a full-blown Moroccan tagine, there's a rub to help you 'make it' every time!

The smart-looking collectible tins come with a handy little booklet with ideas on how to Rub, Sprinkle, Paste, Crumb, Baste, Marinade and Glaze using the 100% pure herbs & spices in each blend.

RUB into dry or oiled steaks, meat joints, chunky fish or seasonal root veggies before roasting, grilling or BBQ'ing.
SPRINKLE on soups, sauces, stir-fries and casseroles for a real depth of taste. Try sprinkling over baked or roast dishes towards the end of cooking time, to add a burst of fresh flavours before serving.
PASTE mix with olive oil or butter and a little soy sauce/balsamic vinegar to make a useful paste that can be added to pasta, soups, sauces and stuffings or used to liven up rice and couscous recipes. Try melting over a grilled or BBQ'd steak or roasted white fish!
CRUMB combine with breadcrumbs to make a stuffing or a coating for meat and fish before frying (great with paneer & halloumi cheese too). Makes a lovely crust topping on everything from grilled lamb chops to salmon steaks and veggie bakes.
BASTE mix with butter or oil to baste a plump chicken or your favourite cut of meat before roasting, grilling or BBQ'ing. Herby Fish Rub baste is perfect on chunky white fish and fat juicy prawns - just add a squeeze of lemon to the juices for a succulent sauce.
MARINADE mix with oil and/or wine/soy sauce/ lemon juice, depending on your recipe, to make a delicious marinade before grilling, roasting or BBQ'ing. (The Tandoori Blend mixed with yoghurt before marinading and grilling is perfect with chicken and salmon).
GLAZE combine with honey and/or oil/ balsamic vinegar to glaze slow cooked meats or to perk up roast root veggies. Add lemon juice to a HERBY FISH RUB glaze for a sweet, sticky finish to grilled fish kebabs and fish steaks.

Barbeque Rub: add a BBQ twist to the things you love to cook all year round:

• especially good for spicing up meat, fish and veggies before grilling or BBQ'ing, indoors or out

• rub into sausages with a little olive oil before roasting in the oven, and serve in a crusty bap with some Spicentice mango chutney
